내년에 개최 예정이었던 제 16차 국제음악지각인지학회(International Conference on Music Perception and Cognition; ICMPC)의 개최 연기와 관련된 공지 사항을 전달드리오니, 한국음악지각인지학회 회원님들의 참고 부탁드립니다.
2020년에 개최가 예정되었던 제 16차 ICMPC는 2020년 도쿄 올림픽 개최를 연유로 연기되어, 2020년이 아닌 2021년 8월에 도쿄에서 개최될 것임을 알려드립니다.

Dear ICMPC people,
On behalf of the committee of International Conference on Music Perception and Cognition(ICMPC), we are pleased to inform you that the next, 16th ICMPC will be held in August, 2021, not 2020. It is hosted by 日本大学芸術学部 (Nihon University College of Art), Tokyo, Japan, with a support of the Japanese Society of Music Perception and Cognition (JSMPC). Since the Olympic game will be held in 2020 in Japan, the next ICMPC is scheduled to be held in 2021.
Many of our colleagues are welcome to join 16th ICMPC in Japan.

The infamous predatory journal, WASET has been using the name of ICMPC for these years. They have already built a web page saying that ICMPC 2021 will be held in March, at Tokyo, Japan. This is completely nothing to do with us, i.e., the “true” 16th ICMPC. If you find the domain name “waset.org”, please be careful. If you have any question for this, please contact to icmpc16@jsmpc.org
The official web page of the 16th ICMPC will get ready in the very near future. (Not yet, sorry.) When it gets ready, we will inform you through this channel. Until then, please do not try any internet search, because you are probable to be "cheated" by WASET.
